Mevlana Museum

Mevlana Museum serves as the final resting place of Celaleddin Rumi, the revered 13th century Sufi mystic and poet. His resting place is inside the now museum building underneath the iconic green dome. Formerly the primary lodge of the Whirling Dervishes, this sacred sanctuary holds the tomb of Mevlana alongside his family and followers, rare manuscripts and ancient musical instruments.
